I have been employed at my current school since qualifying as a languages teacher in 2015 from the University of Birmingham. In this position I have taught German and Spanish to GCSE level and also teach KS3 French. I also have experience teaching English as a foreign language to students who are newly arrived to England. Mentoring student teachers and being the SEN and Literacy ambassador for my department are my current responsibilities. I pride myself at being able to construct healthy relationships with colleagues and students alike and am convinced that an organised and proactive work ethic have allowed me to be an impactful teacher and colleague. A good sense of humour, a positive attitude and an approachable character are just some of the characteristics I can bring to any future employment. I fully believe that providing students with opportunities outside the classroom is key to the personal development of the pupils which is a direct link to educational success.
