Multiple lessons looking at understanding Christian values and virtues. These lessons unpack some of the virtues displayed in the story of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Ranging from the begining of the story to when the children meet the Proffessor. A PHSE lesson on the positive role models of women. Addressing why women need positive role models and what makes a good role model. Included are tasks for pupils to complete, questions for pupils to reflect on and resources for the main activity. The main activity involves pupils going around the room finding information out about different role models, who they are and why they are seen as a role model. They must then conclude by choosing who they think should be the top role model for women and justify their reasons why.

Included is a PP that goes through the Lesson The Lesson is themed on Lord of the Rings to engage the pupils in the subject content. Included therefore is a map worksheet of 'Middle Earth' for pupils to use in order to complete activities on grid references and write a journey log making use of grid referencing and identifying symbols to practice their map skills. The main task is differentiated and there is a differentiated map for LA.

Included are 2 x lessons on the affects of Alcohol. Both lessons use media clips, All links are included. For lesson one there is an information sheet as well as tasks on the PP for pupils to complete. The lesson starts with a True and False card sort activity. The second lesson looks at a documentary that investigates the use of Alcohol by people in the UK. There is a worksheet for pupils to complete as they watch this documentary, differentiated tasks are included on the PP.

This A4 work booklet is designed for use by Year 7-8 pupils studying Moses. The booklet provides a summary of Moses’ life based on the Prince of Egypt film and therefore can be used alongside the film. As pupils watch the film, they can complete the tasks and questions in their work booklet. Use the resources and information on the Powerpoint to create a colourful 3D pop-up Advent Wreath annotated with information. The pupils have really enjoyed creating their own Advent Wreaths. Provides a creative and informative lesson, relevant to the time of year and does not deviate from subject specific learning.

Included here is a Powerpoint presentation and accompanying work booklet. The presentation includes all activities for pupils, from starter, to development and main activities as well as a concluding plenary. Mini plenaries are included as ‘reviews’ and learning outcomes are identified at the beginning of the lesson. All activities include a ‘challenge’ activity for higher level pupils to complete if they finish the initial task. This lesson works best with the Prince of Egypt DVD, being paused at the relevant intervals in order for pupils to complete the corresponding task. However this lesson would also work without the DVD as long as pupils have a copy of the story.

This is a Powerpoint containing information on John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. There is a worksheet for pupils to complete as they work through the lesson. There are a number of video link clips included on some of the slides to make the lesson more engaging by including some media learning as well as opportunity for discussion.

This lesson explores John Paul II’s Theology of the body using sections from Christopher West’s insightful commentary. The students are split into groups to read a section and then given time to rotate round and share information. There is also a link to a video from a Catholic speaker explaining the relevance of Theology of the Body in the lives of young people today.

Included is a PowerPoint presentation on what life was like during the reign of Joseph Stalin. There are tasks for pupils to complete as well as information that can be shared electronically with pupils or printed and placed around the room. Included in this lesson are child friendly video links that give a pupils a good idea of what life might have been like. The document containing the different 'people' can be use to demonstrate how communism works, a pupil can hold each of the signs up to the class and collectively the class can discuss who should earn what money, the truth can then be revealed as to what each person would earn in a communist society. Money props work well in this activity.
