A half term of planning for a mixed year 5/6 class around Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Could be used for a year 5 or 6 class only. 5 weeks planned, however some of the tasks can be used over 2 weeks. No Smarts provided, but resources, plans and steps to success for self reflection.

Gold, green, amber and red traffic lights for an effective classroom behaviour system. There are also the expectations for each traffic light. I haven’t put consequences, rewards etc. as obviously it will vary from user to user. Just print of a list of names and stick to traffic lights with blue tac. Very effective!

A simple idea - stick at the back of the book so that students can fold out when writing and see their targets as they write. I’ve used it with my previous 2 classes and the students seem to really benefit from it.
