An end of topic assessment to assess what children have learned from a topic on the Stone Age to the Iron Age, a topic in the National Curriculum for History. Suitable for any year group in KS2 who have covered the topic. The questions cover all of the three periods: Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. I have used this for my own class and it gave me a good insight into what they have learnt and gaps in knowledge. The download is in Microsoft Word format so is easily editable for amount of marks given etc., and should take the children about 20 minutes to complete. A template for NQTs or trainee teachers to track progress against all of the teaching standards throughout the course of a year (Autumn, Spring and Summer terms). Very useful to use at review or assessment points throughout the year as evidence for meeting the Teaching Standards and personal & professional conduct standards.
