OCR Psychology - Types of experiments and experimental design

Designed for OCR Psychology Research methods section

We are setting this up for science week. Students will be given their clue card. 20 teachers are selected to wear a science week badge and carry a laminated inventor card. Students need to find the teacher to solve the clue. This is something that you can use during the week as a background activity.

I used this as a starter for cells, tissues and organs. Students use cups in a fun challenge to arrange key terms into size order e.g. cells, organelles, atoms, organs Teacher and student instructions are given Simply but very engaging!

KS3 or KS4 lesson on Hooke’s law with practial work included. The powerpoint takes your through how to set out a table and graph.

Colour coded activity sheet (already differentiated) with links and QR codes. Students complete tasks in order and matched to LO

Students complete the tasks in order. They are differentiated and include AFL tasks. Links and QR codes give. Exam questions can be given to students separately.
