Hi, I'm here to share resources for Photography and Art. I love planning and creating resources/lessons/ideas so hopefully the work will be of use to someone else.
Hi, I'm here to share resources for Photography and Art. I love planning and creating resources/lessons/ideas so hopefully the work will be of use to someone else.
I have created a Booklet to be taught to GCSE AQA Photography students.
The booklet successfully takes a year to complete depending on how long you take on each topic/theme. There are 12 different topics/Photographers to potentially study.
The booklet is designed to develop a range of Photography Skills, from composing a shot to editing an image. Topics included are; Paper Project (two photographers), Architecture (two photographers), Faces in places, High Contrast, Optical illusions, Zoe Lower, Harris Shutter, Joiners and Reflections.
The students use the booklet as a source of information. The booklet contains two “Do now” or “Starter” activities per topic. From here the booklet shows how the students should present their research and response to a grade 7 standard.
My students really enjoy using the booklet…it allows the teacher to deliver content and then witness the students using the booklet independently.
The Photographic Visual Elements can be used to;
Guide photoshoots.
Understand Photographers.
Stimulate projects.
Broaden understanding of Photography.
Slide two and three can be printed back to back and folded to created a “Zine” like handout.
