This is a powerpoint version of bingo where the numbers are represented by various manipulatives (e.g. numicon, base 10, tens frames and counters) used as a starter in a year 2 maths lesson.
The children were instructed to write 4 numbers on their mini whiteboards and then shown a number (represented via manipulatives). They should cross out the number which would make it a number bond to 20, for example if the number 6 is shown, they should cross out 14. The following slide shows how you would then make the number bond (add 4 to make 10 and then add 10 to make 20).
A powerpoint which was used as a starter to recap number bonds to 100 using a 100 square to support.
Two questions provided, where the children are required to write a number sentence using the 100 square, followed by a reasoning question.
The powerpoint is animated.
A powerpoint which was used as a column addition starter (no regrouping/exchanging).
This powerpoint includes a question using numbers, a question using words and a reasoning question which challenges the common misconception of putting the ones in the tens column.

A powerpoint which was used as a starter in year 2 to recap counting in 5’s and 10’s.
The activities include: what is the missing number in the number track; which number is wrong and a reasoning question to finish.
The powerpoint is animated to reveal the correct answer.
A powerpoint to support recall of number bonds to 10. The slide will show a robot with a number and a ? for the missing number. For example 10 = 9 + ?. The powerpoint is animated to show the answer of the number bonds. All variations of this are included in this powerpoint. I have used this as a starter activity for maths.
A powerpoint used as a maths starter for recapping counting in 3’s.
Activities include missing number on the number line (forwards and backwards); which number is wrong and a reasoning question.
The powerpoint is animated to show the correct answer.
