This is a powerpoint version of bingo where the numbers are represented by various manipulatives (e.g. numicon, base 10, tens frames and counters) used as a starter in a year 2 maths lesson.
The children were instructed to write 4 numbers on their mini whiteboards and then shown a number (represented via manipulatives). They should cross out the number which would make it a number bond to 20, for example if the number 6 is shown, they should cross out 14. The following slide shows how you would then make the number bond (add 4 to make 10 and then add 10 to make 20).
