A poster that I keep at the front of my room to remind the children of the expectation of what their maths book should look like including a margin and date sticker.
Built is squares.
Space to visually ‘build’ the question e.g. 3X2 is 3 groups of 2, draw it, to pictorially draw the question, write it to practice written numbers and solve it. Can be stuck in books or laminated. Used in Year 3. Could be used for place value, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, fractions…
Times tables game for the Year 1/2/3 times tables (2,5,10,3,4,8 times).
Needs pegs with the answers written on so that the children can peg the correct answer to the sheet. Could also be done with counters with the answers on for them to match up.
Some initial place value worksheets that could be used as initial assessmnts or just as worksheets for the first few lessons of place value teaching. Created to go alongside the new government guidlines for 3PV-1.
These are some times tables games for the 6,7,9,11,12 times tables.
I have the 2,5,10,3,4,8 as a separate listing.
These need pegs or counters with the answers on for the children to match. They also work for division, the children think about the answer divided by the times table and then lift off to check.
