Hello! I am an experienced secondary school teacher from Ireland. My subjects are RE and History. Have a look at some of my resources that are available and make sure to leave a review! All of them have been tried and tested in mixed ability classrooms in Ireland and the UK.
This bundle consists of three different PPTs on:
The early life of Muhammad.
The development of Islam.
The spread of Islam.
Each resource consists of a PowerPoint Presentation that uses bright attractive colours and pictures throughout. At the end of each presentation there is a questions section that can either be used for orally or for written work at the end of the lesson. Additionally each presentation uses ‘thought bubbles’ throughout to highlight key questions and points of interest.
This is a class test on the Renaissance. It is suitable for mixed ability History classes for KS3 and Junior Cycle. There are a higher and lower ability test.
It consists of four questions.
Four test questions are: key words for the Renaissance; changes in technology, changes in art; and changes in medicine and science.
Each question has the total marks beside the subtitle for ease of adding up marks.
The end of the test has a calculations box that either the teacher can fill in and calculate themselves, or the students can as a numeracy activity.
A short student reflection activity.
A teacher comments section ‘What Went Well’ and ‘Even Better If’.
The test comes as a pdf and a MS Word document so it can be edited.
This is a simple worksheet that can be used as part of a module studying Islam. It consists of 5 multiple choice questions and a wordsearch where three words must be picked and the definitions given.
It is suitable for KS3/KS4/Junior Certificate class groups.

This is a simple worksheet that can be used as part of a module introducing Morality. It consists of a short definition matching exercise and a longer written exercise where the students must give examples for each definition.
