They will write these words in the grid boxes and on the lines below the grid. Following this, the learner will then fill the remaining grid boxes with random letters of the alphabet. Get your learners to swap their completed word search with a peer, who will then complete it.

A 20 question Christmas movie quiz.

A creative writing task based on the last short story in the novel. **Task: ** In this chapter, the story is told from the point of view of a third person narrator and focuses on a character named Diane Parrington. Rewrite this short story from the point of view of the young man who Diana meets on the iced lake. You need to write in the first person and the story will end exactly the same way as it does in Priestley’s book: with the young man disappearing under the cracking ice.

Learners are asked to research the context of the novel in order to get some background information on the novel.

2x Halloween PDF games. A4 SIZE. Halloween Bingo - 5 games cards and a grid card included. Instructions: Cut out the images on the grid sheet and place inside a container. Give each player a bingo card. As you draw an image from the hat, ask the players to cross them out on their grid sheet. The first player who gets 5 in a row, wins! An English Reading Comprehension Activity. This resource gives the learner an overview of the inspirational Actor and Producer Elliot Page. Learners will be asked to answer seven skimming and scanning questions based on the document. They will also be asked to look up four key words from the document. Answers are provided so that learners can self mark.

Peppa Pig children’s word search word.

A fun game. One player is asked to answer the scenarios on the page. Once they have answered these questions, the rest of the players answer the same questions with predictions of what the first player would have chosen. The person who predicts the most correct wins! A blank game sheet is attached so learners can create their own football themed game.

Game 1: Write down a ‘90s’ related word for each letter from A - Z. Whoever finishes first, wins! Game 2: Using the letters in ‘Whatever’ create as many words as you can. All words must be more than two letters long. The person who creates the most words, wins!.
