24X Flash Cards - double sided with media print on one side. A number of flash cards which are useful to use with secondary school aged learners. The cards contain the names and icons of different: social media platforms, internet sites and video streaming services. You can use the cards to get the learners to do a research task on each platform: the age that you are allowed to use that platform, when it was founded, the function of the platform, the pros and cons of using this platform etc…

Learners will use the worksheet to describe how their book’s character is feeling by drawing the emotion on the emoji’s face. Following this, they will write down as many adjectives as they can think of, around the emoji, which describe these feelings.

Your only way out is to solve a coded message. Solve it or you will be trapped inside forever! Instructions • There are nine clues hidden around the room. • You need to locate all nine clues and then you will need to solve them in order • Five of the clues will reveal different letters of the alphabet. There are grey boxes on the clue sheet for you to write these down, as well as space on your answer sheet. When you have noted down all of the letters, you will then unscramble the letters to reveal a seasonal related phrase. • The four other clues will reveal four separate numbers. You will add these numbers together to reveal a 2-digit number. This will be the last part of the code. • Once you have ‘cracked’ both codes, you will then be able to escape from the Grinche’s house!
