Watermelon themed tens frames where the children work out the number of water melons on the tens frame and then hunt for the card with the correct number on. Then they work out the number on the tens frame on that card and hunt for that number and so on. If they get them all right, they should get back to the beginning. Helps with number recognition and counting. A great transition activity. A self checking answer sheet is included.

A round robin type game where you can place cards around the classroom. Children can start at any card and have to hunt for the card with the correct answer. Once they get back to their first answer they know they have completed all of the cards correctly. A self-checking answer sheet is also included.

A sorting game for pupils to match digits, pictorial representations and numbers as words (0-10). Simply print, laminate and muddle the cards. Can be used as a follow-on activity for fast finishers or as a supported activity to reinforce number recognition. Great for children who need a little more time to grasp counting in order. A quick, fun game to reinforce number recognition (numbers 1-10) and pictorial representations. Cards include numbers up to 12 for an extra challenge, but these can be removed if desired. Can be played as a carpet game or in groups. Instructions included in the download.

A fun and engaging card game based on 2D shapes (basic geometry skills). Perfect for a plenary, end of lesson filler, whole class activity or consolidation task. Each shape is paired with a colour and the words of both the colour and the shape are written on each card to help children with their reading skills. There are 32 cards - enough for a whole class activity. It can also be played in smaller groups and each pupil is given more than one card, or some can be taken out.
