AQA RS New Spec 9-1 Hinduism Cosmology revision sheet. This is based on the PIXL approach in which pupils have to reduce, transform and create. Students have some key revision information in the middle of the sheet and key words around the outside. They then reduce the information into their own words and then transform this into an image, before creating some multiple choice questions based on cosmology. Students found this useful as this was a tricky part of the Hinduism course for some pupils. Great for independent revision or study as well as being good for teachers to use as a resource to talk through with students.

AQA RS New Spec 9-1 Question 5 planning sheet. This can be used to help students plan out their answer for a Q5 answer. It is helpful as it gets pupils to plan out what key words and teachings they should use in their answer and then the key arguments for different sides. Students found this helpful to know what to include when they were practising their answers.

PLCs for all four themes and issues of relationships, crime and punishment, peace and conflict and religion and life. I can statements for pupils to RAG themselves at the start of revision and at the end and to also RAG whether they are confident with keywords and key teachings that relate to different topics. This is focused on Christianity and Hinduism(as the comparative religion) however could be changed easily to whatever religion you teach alongside Christianity. This could even be given at the beginning of the course and then revisited at the end.

This is a blank template which can be given to students with the task of creating a textbook page on the main topics with the area of pacifism and peacemaking. This can be used in conjunction with the AQA Christianity textbook pages on pacifism or independent research. My students found it really useful to have an overview and it was a good independent study task. Could be used in class or for homework as a flipped class room or consolidation activity.

AQA Religious Studies Model answer for ‘Religious believers should not eat meat.’ Evaluate. This is an answer which would achieve at least in level 4 in the markscheme (between 10-12 marks) Could be used with students to show them the sort of thing needed for the higher level answers. It uses the religions of Hinduism and Christianity.

A worksheet on the Holocaust which gets students thinking deep about the topic. there are several questions which are linked the the History and SMSC style questions to get pupils considering the Holocaust on a different level.

AQA RS Exam practice Honeycomb sheet for religion and Life. This is useful for students to plan out their exam questions by allowing them practise the easier questions but then also plan out the content, key words and quotes that would be useful for this sort of question.

A simple worksheet about the Gallipoli campaign. Could be used for LA students or consolidation exercise.

A simple sheet which can be used as a plenary reflection for pupils. It allows them to reflect on the ‘key’ elements of the lesson or set of lessons and considers what they need to do to improve next time.
