This is a full 6-7 week scheme of work based upon Programme Music, appropriate for Key Stage 3 (I wrote it for Year 7). Including studies of Smetena’s Ma Vlast, Carnival of the Animals and The Lark Ascending, this is the perfect unit to get pupils into orchestral music.
