Children will learn to sequence pictures of how to plant a seed by first sequencing pictures. They then will draw/write on a planning frame to show the pictures in order and any key words to help them write the following day using time connectives and imperative verbs. Teaching PP Lesson 1- introducing children to materials. Children identify what toys are made out of and group them under the different materials. Practical activity but pictures are provided for grouping if toys are not available in the class. Lesson 2- Using their knowledge of materials, children look at waterproof/ not waterproof materials. They will conduct an investigation to find out which material is waterproof for Traction Man’s coat. Worksheet provided for the investigation.
