A fact file that looks at St David's Day, including a brief introduction to who St David was and how he is celebrated in the modern day. Also included are three differentiated worksheets with questions related to the text they have read with the answers included.
Written with Year 5/6 in mind but can be used higher up.

Included for each person is a fact file including information about why they are influential (information and images courtesy of Wikipedia). Each fact file is then matched up with an 11 question comprehension to support development of reading comprehension, as well as an answer sheet.
This can be used in a number of ways including as part of a series of reading lessons, the opportunity to focus in on an individual, individual reading lessons or tasks, home learning tasks or for homework.
