I currently work at the top end of Primary school in Year 5/6. I create resources for a range of subjects and am always open to suggestions for resources people require.

A lesson made looking at adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator. Included is a PowerPoint with L.O and S.C as well as examples to work through. This includes a practice sheet that children can work through for the questions on the board.
Also included are a set of three differentiated worksheets that work on adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator for Year 4 children.
These have all been made with mastery in mind and so follow this pattern.
Worksheet One - Works on practise and fluency (LA)
Worksheet Two - Practise, fluency and reasoning (MA)
Worksheet Three - Practise, fluency, reasoning and problem solving (HA)
Answers are included.
This has been made for children in either Year 3 or 4.
A range of times table mastery check documents. Each one contains 10 questions that check children's understanding of the a times table through more complex methods than just giving them a times table test. Included are word problems, reasoning questions and showing the relationship between numbers.
Also included are times table builders and an example of how these can be used to then build different answers e.g. 16 x 4 from the 4 x builder.
All of the questions related to fractions from the two previous end of Key Stage Two tests under the new assessment framework and from the original sample test.
These questions have been split into arithmetic paper questions and reasoning papers and are also in a combined example. These can be used for a number of reasons including practise of fraction questions or pre and post teaching assessments for fractions
The Big Book of Fractions includes a range of fraction topics within it over 95 pages including:
What a fraction is
Colouring fractions
Representing fractions
Equivalent fractions including simplifying
Comparing fractions
Finding fractions of amounts including finding original numbers - Using the bar model
Converting between mixed and improper fractions
Adding fractions
Subtracting fractions
Multiplying fractions by whole numbers
Multiplying fractions by fractions
Dividing fractions by whole numbers
Fractions, decimals and percentages equivalence
Glossary of what particular terms mean
Within this there are help sheets, showing how to do different operations with fractions through the maths and also through showing pictorial representations, generally using the bar model.
After the help sheets most topics include practise questions and then questions that challenge children's fluency, reasoning and problem solving abilities.
This can be used for a range of things, whether it be just to print the help sheets to encourage children to be independent or to give children a practise activity or activity that requires them to think more deeply.
Different activity sheets that give children questions that look at their fluency, reasoning or problem solving skills for that area of Maths with the answers included. Example questions from the sample reasoning papers and 2016 reasoning papers are also being included for mini practise.
More topics will continue to be included.
Five differentiated worksheets that work on being able to multiply decimal numbers by whole numbers, with multiplying by one digit included in word problems and multiplying by two digits which then also leads into word problems. Used successfully with a Year 6 class but could be watered down for Year 5/ used for Year 7 recap.
10 questions that check children's understanding of the 7 times table through more complex methods than just giving them a 7 times table test. Included are word problems, reasoning questions and showing the relationship between numbers.
Different activity sheets that give children questions that look at their fluency, reasoning or problem solving skills for that area of Maths with the answers included.
More topics will continue to be included.
Attached are a number of resources to try and help in the build up to SAT's.
This includes 36 fully planned lessons to run from February half term with planning, slides and worksheets attached that operate on a mastery basis to develop children's reasoning and problem solving. These are for children to pick between based on confidence.
The reason for 36 lessons is so that you can also focus on other areas such as angles, graphs and rotation as desired or key target areas within your class. Where lessons are repeated, worksheets are repeated as purely revision. Within the presentation are slides for other lessons as a starting point.
Also included are mini-arithmetic tests and problem solving task cards children can work through and a revision mat of key facts.
10 questions that check children's understanding of the 9 times table through more complex methods than just giving them a 9 times table test. Included are word problems, reasoning questions and showing the relationship between numbers.
A set of three differentiated worksheets that work on place value for Year 3 children. Having used a similar format in my own lessons, these sheets often provide enough challenge for lessons, with children taking on the easier work then moving on to harder challenges within the other sheets.
These have all been made with mastery in mind and so follow this pattern.
Worksheet One - Works on practise and fluency (LA)
Worksheet Two - Practise, fluency and reasoning (MA)
Worksheet Three - Practise, fluency, reasoning and problem solving (HA)
Answers are included for each sheet.
Two PowerPoint's that focus on being able to add and subtract fractions. The first one looks at being able to add and subtract when the denominator is the same, modelling and working through a range of questions. The second PowerPoint then focuses on adding and subtracting when the denominator is different, modelling and working through a range of questions.
10 questions that check children's understanding of the 3 times table through more complex methods than just giving them a 3 times table test. Included are word problems, reasoning questions and showing the relationship between numbers.
Mini Arithmetic tests made for Year 6 children to give them a chance to practise an Arithmetic style paper. These have been made as mini tests with 10 questions on each as a quick opportunity to practise different questions, become used to the grid and to increase their speed through regular practise.
10 questions that check children's understanding of the 4 times table through more complex methods than just giving them a 4 times table test. Included are word problems, reasoning questions and showing the relationship between numbers.
10 questions that check children's understanding of the 8 times table through more complex methods than just giving them a 8 times table test. Included are word problems, reasoning questions and showing the relationship between numbers.
A series of PowerPoint lesson that focuses on some of the algebra objectives from the Year 6 WRM planning including variables, one step functions, two step functions and substitutions. There is an arithmetic starter included as well as a number of questions to work through (including pink and green bubbles for support and challenge) where answers can then be discussed. Finally, reasoning and problem solving tasks from WRM are included.
Also included is a two lesson PowerPoint and activity focusing on finding the values of letters when they are a set value as part of an equation. Answers are included with the worksheet that provides practice and challenge.
There is also a PowerPoint full of previous SATs questions that link to algebra or can be shown to link to algebra.
Finally, there are some puzzles to work out the value of shapes and a Premier League table activity that has potential variables.
A ten lesson unit of work based on place value for Year 6. Included are all the required PowerPoints that also include arithmetic starters. Each lesson/ double lesson has a worksheet activity that includes the answers as well as challenge activities for those that are confident to deepen their understanding.
Lesson 1 and 2 - Numbers to 10 million
Lesson 3 and 4 - Comparing and ordering numbers
Lesson 5,6 and 7 - Rounding numbers
Lesson 8 and 9 - Negative numbers
Lesson 10 - Roman numerals
A lesson presentation and activity sheet that goes with it for practise questions. The focus is being able to find the whole based on fractions of amounts by using the bar model to support them with an example and six practise questions that link to the sheet.
This is then followed up with a worksheet that requires children to practise being able to find the whole based on fractions of amounts. As well as a number of practise questions there are then also reasoning/ problem solving style questions with the answers also included.
