Written Addition (3 by 3) Worksheets
Two different worksheets that give the chance to practise written addition of two 3-digit numbers including questions that don’t require carrying and questions that do.
Each worksheet includes questions set out as a list or already set out in the correct method as well as having an answer sheet.
The first worksheet begins with questions that require no carrying, then one carry and then finishes with questions that involve carrying twice.
The second worksheet includes questions that all require at least one example of carrying if not more.

Fifteen fully resourced lessons that complete a unit of work for Year 5 in place value.
Most lessons bar the Roman Numeral lesson are double lessons, sharing the same objective and resources.
The lesson sequence of the unit is as follows:
Lesson 1 and 2 - Place Value up to 100,000
Lesson 3 and 4 - Compare and order numbers up to 100,000
Lesson 5 and 6 - Round numbers to the nearest 10, 100 or 1000
Lesson 7 and 8 - Place Value up to 1,000,000
Lesson 9 and 10 - Compare and order numbers up to 1,000,000
Lesson 11 and 12 - Round numbers up to the nearest 100,000
Lesson 13 and 14 - Negative numbers

Year 4 Place Value - Numbers to 1000
An introductory lesson for Year 4 Place Value with children working on numbers up to 1000. As a first lesson, it requires children to work with Base 10, identifying different values based on what is represented, including thinking about the use of a place holder.
