Written Multiplication Worksheets
Fourteen different worksheets that work on written multiplication in various ways. Each worksheet also has an answer sheet included.
Sheet One - 2-digit by 1-digit with the method already set out
Sheet Two - 3-digit by 1-digit with the method already set out
Sheet Three - 4-digit by 1-digit with the method already set out
Sheet Four - 2-digit by 2-digit with the method already set out (multiplied by numbers between 12 and 19)
Sheet Five - 2-digit by 2-digit with the method already set out
Sheet Six - 3-digit by 2-digit with the method already set out
Sheet Seven - 4-digit by 2-digit with the method already set out
Eight to fourteen follow the same order of calculating but with different questions that don’t have the method set out so you can check whether children can set it out accurately.
Place Value Slides and Worksheets
A fully resourced lesson for place value, written for Year 6 but easily adaptable. The resources included provide enough work for two sessions.
Included are:
A set of 20 slides that can be used as a lesson presentation to work on the place value of numbers. Included are a range of questions and a number of visual representations with place value counters to help children understand how the different values work.
Also included are a set of three differentiated worksheets that work on place value for Year 6 children. Having used a similar format in my own lessons, these sheets often provide enough challenge for two days lessons, with children taking on the easier work then moving on to harder challenges within the other sheets.
These have all been made with mastery in mind and so follow this pattern.

Year 5 Area and Perimeter Unit Bundle (9 lessons)
Five lessons that focus on being able to calculate the area of quadrilaterals and compound shapes and four lessons that focus on being able to measure and calculate the perimeter of shapes.
Included is:
Four lessons that focus on being able to work with perimeter with lessons set out as two double lessons.
The first double lesson focuses on being able to measure shapes and calculate the perimeter of rectangles and squares where a ruler has been provided to measure the shapes.
The second double lesson then follows up by focusing on being able to calculate the perimeter of different shapes, using the information provided or what children already know about the property of shapes.
Each double lesson includes:
A double lesson PowerPoint that includes an arithmetic starter for each lesson, key vocabulary, modelling and discussion points as well as guided practice before moving on to independent activities.
An independent activity that applies what children have learnt during the teaching part of the lesson. An answer sheet is included for the activity and there are challenge activities for children that finish which also include answers. The activity and challenges run over both lessons as it is expected that there may be more time teaching and talking in the first lesson before having more time to practise in the second lesson. However, everything is uploaded in PPT format so can be easily edited to suit.

A fully-resourced double lesson that focuses on the objective of finding the area of quadrilaterals, with a particular focus on squares and rectangles.
Included in the resource is:
A double lesson PowerPoint that includes an arithmetic starter for each lesson, key vocabulary and areas to model and discuss as well as then having some guided practice for children to work through to check their understanding.
This is then followed up by an independent practice activity and challenge questions for those that finish. These are planned to run over the two lessons with the first lesson potentially taking more teaching time and the second lesson giving more time for practice and challenges. Answer sheets are included for both.
All attachments are uploaded as PowerPoints so they can be easily adapted, especially in adapting to any misconceptions or needs that arise from the first lesson.
