Year 6 Place Value - Rounding to the nearest 10 and 100
A lesson aimed at revision/ recap for Year 6 in being able to round to the nearest 10 and 100. Included is the lesson PowerPoint with an arithmetic starter, an activity booklet that follows the guided practice before having independent activities and lesson activity as well as problem solving and reasoning questions.
Answers are then included separately.
Year 6 Place Value - Rounding to the nearest 1000 and 10,000
A lesson aimed at for Year 6 but easily adaptable to Year 5 in being able to round to the nearest 1000 and 10,000. Included is the lesson PowerPoint with an arithmetic starter, an activity booklet that follows the guided practice before having independent activities and lesson activity as well as problem solving and reasoning questions.
Answers are then included separately.
Year 4 Place Value - Rounding to 10, 100 and 1000
A lesson based on rounding to the nearest 10, 100 or 1000 for Year 4. Included is the PowerPoint which includes an arithmetic starter, blank number lines, an activity that comes with answers and three reasoning and problem solving questions.

There is then an independent activity that carries over the two lessons and challenge activities when they finish.

Year 3 Multiplication (2-digit by 1-digit) Double Lesson
A double lesson that focuses on introducing 2-digit by 1-digit multiplication for children in Year 3, using partitioning to support with this. Included is a lesson PowerPoint that includes arithmetic starters, activity task and challenge tasks which both also include answers.
The lessons work on building understanding through multiplying by the ones and then the tens seperately to then add together. This can then be used to build on to written multiplication through one step.
Maths Homework Booklet
A booklet that includes information and questions based on factors, multiples, prime numbers, area and volume that is written for Year 6 based on tight timings. There are examples and discussion points as well as practise questions. These can be used for homework or even for home learning so PowerPoint versions have been included to edit. Answers are also included.
Year 3 Multiplication (2-digit by 1-digit) Double Lesson (Compacted method)
A double lesson that focuses on introducing 2-digit by 1-digit multiplication for children in Year 3, using the compacted method having previously been taught partitioning to support with this.
