Questions have been taken from a range of sources including some examples from previous papers to help prepare children for some of the types of questions they may come across.

Simply put the sheets back to back, laminate and children will have a reusable template for the Bar model. It is a simple sheet but is just an idea for people to use and saves a few minutes creating it should you then wish to use it.

Included within the presentation are starters and the key components of the lessons, including picture activities that get children to think of vocabulary for before then writing that part of the extract. Also included are a draft and redraft sheet, draft writing models to use as part of an example model write with children as well as a peer-marking code and fact file for diary writing.

The fifth of a ten part series of lessons that focus on many of the elements of the locational knowledge aspects for the KS2 Geography curriculum. The series of lessons focuses predominantly on children being able to use maps to find countries and cities in different continents as well as a brief focus on time zones and globalisation. All of the resources needed to run the lesson are included with worksheets, any potential example maps required (in case atlases are unavailable) the presentation and unit of work plan. This lesson focuses on being able to identify various European countries and their capital cities and labelling these via a blank map.
