Halloween Maths Activities
20 different maths activities that are Halloween themed through the use of different images. The activities can be used as a booklet or can be printed off as separate activities that are ready to go.
There are a range of activities for counting and simple addition and subtraction with counting being up to 10 and adding including then going above 10 occasionally. Activities include:
3 activities that are counting the object in the box
3 activities counting an object in the box where there are other objects to ignore
3 activities that involve counting two different sets of objects
3 activities that involve counting two different sets of objects and then adding the two together to find the total
3 activities that involve counting two different sets of objects before writing the number sentence to find the total
3 activities that involve counting two sets of objects before filling in a sentence about how many more than there is of one object than the other
2 activities that involve counting two sets of objects before completing the number sentence for finding the difference.
Answers are included for all activities.

The Nothing to See Here Hotel Reading Comprehension Bundle
A reading comprehension pack linked to the book ‘The Nothing to see Here Hotel’.
Included in the pack is a 10 question task for every chapter included in the book which means there are 26 tasks overall, resulting in 260 questions linked to the book. Each chapter includes a range of skills including retrieving, inferring and considering the use of vocabulary and language features. An answer sheet is also included for each chapter.

Information Text Scheme of Work (Planning, Slides, Activities)
Fully planned, differentiated and resourced unit of work looking at information texts, writing an information text about the white elephant from The Firework-Maker's Daughter. Included are all the slides, planning and resources needed to run each lesson, with 10 lessons that focus on key features of information texts and work on different skills before completing their own independent writing. Written for Year 5 but easily adaptable between Year 3 and Year 7.
Skills include: planning, reading comprehension, using generalisers, peer-assessing writing, creating a glossary and structuring a text with sub-headings and a topic phrase.

Four fully resourced lessons that focuses on being able to convert between various measurements from mm to cm up to g and kg. The lesson presentations focus on a range of questions and building understanding as well as guided practise questions for children to practise what they are learning. Year 5 Area Unit of Work
Five lessons that focus on being able to calculate the area of quadrilaterals and compound shapes.
Included is:
A fully-resourced double lesson that focuses on the objective of finding the area of quadrilaterals, with a particular focus on squares and rectangles.
Included in the resource is:
A double lesson PowerPoint that includes an arithmetic starter for each lesson, key vocabulary and areas to model and discuss as well as then having some guided practice for children to work through to check their understanding.
This is then followed up by an independent practice activity and challenge questions for those that finish. These are planned to run over the two lessons with the first lesson potentially taking more teaching time and the second lesson giving more time for practice and challenges. Answer sheets are included for both.
All attachments are uploaded as PowerPoints so they can be easily adapted, especially in adapting to any misconceptions or needs that arise from the first lesson.

Clauses and Conjunctions Lessons (x5)
A fully resourced weeks worth of lessons focusing on clauses and conjunctions. A useful resource at the start of the year to develop writing skills but can easily be used as a recap tool during the year, or for lessons to be used separately at different points.
Included is a full set of lesson PowerPoints which walk through lessons with notes where appropriate, starter activities and activities linked to the learning. Answers are provided for all activities. There are also support sheets where necessary to support pupils, as well as pink and green bubbles to provide scaffold and challenge. All resources are uploaded in PPT format so that they can be easily adapted.

These seven lessons take children on a journey from the developing understanding of the Solar System models to writing their own reports.

Attached is a full set of differentiated planning and resources for six lessons for electricity that cover the curriculum aims for Year 6. Included within this are tips for writing scientifically, looking at what needs to be included as well as a model example of a conclusion and what makes it good.

Included are all the slides, planning and resources needed to run each lesson, with 15-17 lessons that focus on key features of newspapers and work on different skills before completing their own independent writing. Written for Year 5 but easily adaptable between Year 3 and Year 7.
Skills include: Using alliteration, punctuating speech accurately, converting direct speech to reported speech and work on pronouns.
