Year 4 - Describing Position using Coordinates Worksheet
A worksheet that provides a variety of questions linked to being able to describe position using coordinates for Year 4 based on the White Rose Maths objectives.
Included as part of the worksheet are 4 different questions that provide variation to check understanding through the use of different models, representations and question styles.
There is also an extension task that provides challenge with a further 4 questions, including the final question being a look ahead to being able to plot coordinates.
Answers are also included for all questions.

Year 6 - Addition and Subtraction Reasoning Questions
A bank of questions from previous SATs papers including the sample tests that focus on addition and subtraction. These have all been pulled from the reasoning papers so they can be used to challenge children’s understanding or can be used as a mini-assessment of how children are with addition and subtraction.
KS2 Year 6 SATs Grammar PowerPoint
A presentation that includes 195 past questions that can be used as a revision tool for Year 6 Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling or that can be used to pick and choose from for starter questions in English sessions. Questions are taken from the sample paper as well as the 2016, 2017 and 2018 paper.
Easily usable as talking points with children practising a question at a time before then discussing the answer and why that is the case.
Decimal Place Value Grids
A sheet with two place value grids on that can be photocopied and sliced up to be used. The place value grid follows the idea of splitting the place values into threes to help show how thousands and millions truly work as well as signposting where commas should go. It also shows decimal points and the following three values after the decimal point, as well as showing their fraction equivalence.
9 Times Table Mastery Check
10 questions that check children's understanding of the 9 times table through more complex methods than just giving them a 9 times table test. Included are word problems, reasoning questions and showing the relationship between numbers.
-ay Phonics Activity
An activity based around -ay for children. Included are cards with all the letters of the alphabet and the ay phoneme where children can then practise seeing what words they can create when blending sounds together. Recommended to print two sets of the letter cards.
Capital Letters and Full Stops
An activity that focuses on capital letters and full stops. It has been made to be used as an intervention task, requiring children to think about when they would use them and why before then applying this to sentences and their own previous work.
