Three different activities based on learning about the Vikings. These include: An activity that gives children the opportunity to create their own Viking shield. Included is a design template that includes the iron boss on already and two pages of design ideas that might help children decide what they want to do. A blank map activity that can be used to get children to show where Vikings originate from as well as where they settled. Children can then map out the potential journey the Vikings took to get to the various places through the use of arrows. Included is a map of Europe showing where the Vikings settled and raided to support children. Activities that can be used when teaching the Vikings in KS2. Included is a map activity that requires children to colour the map based on Danelaw and a set of questions that then finishes with a mini-essay style question where children have to apply their knowledge to respond to a statement.

34 different questions for Chapter Two of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl that test a range of skills. These can be used for guided reading sessions or to give children as activities to support guided reading sessions/ whole class reading comprehensions. The questions follow the order of the chapter but don't have answers attached as the answers can vary depending on the child's opinion.

A triple lesson that focuses on being able to use the short written division method when dividing by 2 digits. Included is a PowerPoint for the lessons that includes an arithmetic starter as well as an activity with answers and challenge activities for those that are confident.

Four worksheets working on division using the short division method. The first sheet works on being able to divide into decimal numbers using 5 to always get a round answer. The second sheet then looks at word problems with a divisor of one digit. The third sheet moves on to dividing by two digit numbers before then moving on to word problems involving two digit divisors.

Two PowerPoint lessons that focus on the objective of one step and two step functions from the Year 6 WRM planning. There is an arithmetic starter included as well as a number of questions to work through (including pink and green bubbles for support and challenge) where answers can then be discussed. Finally, reasoning and problem solving tasks from WRM are included.

Three fact file/ knowledge sheets that children can use to know about reared, caught and processed foods. These are useful as prompts for children that may be struggling or as overviews with examples of different types of food, seasonality and definitions for each one.

Two different worksheets that give the chance to practise written division of a 2-digit number by a 1-digit number with no remainders. Each worksheet includes questions set out as a list or already set out in the correct method as well as having an answer sheet.

Two quizzes for the end of the year that can be used for a bit of fun/ competition between individuals or groups. One quiz is: A multiple choice quiz that children can do in teams as a fun end of year activity looking at various events in 2016-2017. An activity that requires children to find some of the European countries involved in the First World War. There are two sets of differentiated maps, with a set of blank maps of 1914 Europe and a set of blank maps of modern day Europe. Also included is a labelled map of 1914 Europe to support children. This is a useful activity for beginning to look at the First World War as it gives children the opportunity to explore countries involved and consider the proximity to one another whilst providing the chance to see how much the European map has changed in the past 100 years.

Writing moderation grids that include all the statements for the three standards from the newly released writing assessment framework for the 2017-18 academic year for Key Stage Two.

A knowledge organiser for the Stone Age. Included within this is a timeline for the period as well as a key vocabulary section for some of the words children may come across during the topic. These are useful for either sticking in books at the start of the topic to refer back to or to enlarge and have on display.
