Three different activities based on learning about the Vikings. These include: An activity that gives children the opportunity to create their own Viking shield. Included is a design template that includes the iron boss on already and two pages of design ideas that might help children decide what they want to do. A blank map activity that can be used to get children to show where Vikings originate from as well as where they settled. Children can then map out the potential journey the Vikings took to get to the various places through the use of arrows. Included is a map of Europe showing where the Vikings settled and raided to support children. Activities that can be used when teaching the Vikings in KS2. Included is a map activity that requires children to colour the map based on Danelaw and a set of questions that then finishes with a mini-essay style question where children have to apply their knowledge to respond to a statement.

These can be used for guided reading sessions or to give children as activities to support guided reading sessions/ whole class reading comprehensions. The questions follow the order of the chapter but don't have answers attached as the answers can vary depending on the child's opinion.

Four worksheets working on division using the short division method. The first sheet works on being able to divide into decimal numbers using 5 to always get a round answer. The second sheet then looks at word problems with a divisor of one digit. The third sheet moves on to dividing by two digit numbers before then moving on to word problems involving two digit divisors.

One quiz is: A multiple choice quiz that children can do in teams as a fun end of year activity looking at various events in 2016-2017. Round One- Sporting events Round Two- Film questions Round Three- Picture Round Round Four- Song Round - Name the artist and name of the song with a point for each (Freedom in this round of selecting a number of songs yourself from 2016-2017 to quiz children on) Round Five- Music Round Round Six- Television Round The second quiz is a multiple choice general knowledge quiz that has 26 questions before finishing with 2 bonus rounds with a point per answer available.

An activity that requires children to find some of the European countries involved in the First World War. There are two sets of differentiated maps, with a set of blank maps of 1914 Europe and a set of blank maps of modern day Europe. Also included is a labelled map of 1914 Europe to support children. This is a useful activity for beginning to look at the First World War as it gives children the opportunity to explore countries involved and consider the proximity to one another whilst providing the chance to see how much the European map has changed in the past 100 years.
