FIve adapted versions of the 2019 KS2 Arithmetic test that can be used to support quizzing and progress against the same question types. Each adapted version includes the same question types and requirements of pupils with adapted numbers that look for the same mathematical understanding. Each paper also includes an answers on a page for marking with ease.

A six-lesson unit focusing on improving understanding of different religious festivals and non-religious celebrations, based on the question ‘Why are festivals important to religious communities?’ from the Derbyshire syllabus. Two different worksheets that give the chance to practise multiplying a 3-digit number by a 2-digit number using the written method. Both worksheets are set out in two ways: one where the questions are just written and children need to set them out and one where they are already set out ready. Answer sheets are also included for both sheets. The first sheet focuses on multiplying a 3-digit number by a 1-digit number before then multiplying the same 3-digit number by a 2-digit number to introduce the new step. The final questions are then a range of 3-digit by 2-digit to apply the new learning. The second sheet focuses on multiplying different 3-digit numbers by 2-digit numbers. There is also a multiplication square attached to support if necessary.

These are very much ready to print and go as they are with the only requirement being to decide the level of challenge you want to bring to pupils. Worksheets are attached with UK and US spellings. Alongside the activities, there are two supporting sheets. One is a poster style document that can be used with individuals or for display, whilst there are also support structure strips that can be trimmed and stuck into books to provide a scaffold with support around vocabulary and examples.

A six lesson unit for electricity that is based on the Year 4 Science curriculum. Included is a work booklet, a support booklet with information, lesson PowerPoints and a knowledge organiser that provides overview of some of the key information. The 6 lessons are as follows: Lesson 1: What is electricity and looking at examples of things that use electricity Lesson 2: Keeping safe with electricity Lesson 3: Conductors and insulators Lesson 4: Circuits (this lesson does include a brief look at circuit symbols ahead of Year 6) Lesson 5: Investigation into circuits Lesson 6: Review lesson The information booklet includes key supporting detail and can be printed into a reusable A5 format that signals the booklet is different to the activity booklet. This is then paired up with the work booklet that involves all the key tasks children will complete as part of their learning. The PowerPoints then bring all this work together as well as providing additional questions and information to discuss. Credit to BBC Bitesize for images and some of the information included.

Attached is my final submission for NPQSL that scored 26/28. Certain sections have been removed for confidentiality but the full assessment itself is there. I’ve uploaded it in the hope it is useful for anyone doing the NPQSL as I know when we were doing it we were disappointed with the lack of free examples to look at.

A lesson that aims to last approximately 30 minutes on being able to convert from active to passive voice. This was originally used as an interview lesson but can quite easily be used as a mini-lesson to recap or introduce active and passive before looking to extend or link to writing outcomes. Included in the resource is: A lesson PowerPoint with recap, key vocabulary, modelling, guided and independent practice. There are also pink and green bubbles to provide support and challenge throughout. Worksheet that includes the elements of the lesson, as well as a support structure down the side of the sheet to refer back to for key vocabulary and examples. An adapted worksheet with sentence stems should it be needed for children.
