A set of three differentiated worksheets that work on addition and subtraction for Year 5 children. Having used a similar format in my own lessons, these sheets often provide enough challenge for two days lessons, with children taking on the easier work then moving on to harder challenges within the other sheets.

The first lesson is:
A fully-resourced lesson that focuses on being able to name and locate the continents of the world and the oceans.
Included is:
A presentation that introduces the different continents and oceans, involving some discussion around these, questions and some facts around continents.
An activity that links to the presentation with questions and a map task for naming the oceans and continents. There is also a challenge question for those that finish. An answer sheet is also included for the activity.
A support sheet for the activity which is a map with the continents and oceans named.
This lesson can be used in either KS1 or 2 with a focus on teaching continents and oceans for the first time or coming back to it at the start of KS2.
The second lesson is:
An introductory lesson to the Equator, hemispheres and tropics, suitable for either Year 2 or lower KS2.
Included in the lesson is:
A presentation for the lesson that includes maps that highlight the different areas and some information for discussion, as well as a recap task from a previous lesson focusing on continents and oceans. The recap task is also included as part of the lesson pack with an answer sheet but can easily be ignored for this lesson to stand alone.
An activity that requires children to label the various aspects discussed as well as questions and a challenge question linked to the lesson. An answer sheet is also included for this.

Three lessons aimed at the Year 4 objective based on being able to subtract a four-digit number from another that require different levels of exchanging being applied.

Included are all the slides, planning and resources needed to run each lesson, with 8-10 lessons that focus on key features of instructions and work on different skills before completing their own independent writing. Written for Year 5 but easily adaptable between Year 3 and Year 7.
Independent writing is linked to George's Marvellous Medicines with children creating 'different' types of medicine with a list of possible ingredients also included and an example of how it could be written.
Skills include: Using linking adverbs (time adverbials) and using imperative verbs as well as creating a poppy for remembrance day.

Maths revision activity: This includes 63 questions that cover a broad range of topics to help children with revision in the build up to SAT's. Included are reworded questions from the sample tests as well as a range of other problems with all questions aimed at testing children's reasoning and problem solving.
This provides the perfect opportunity to deepen understanding on topics children have already covered as well as assessing where children need further work.

Two fully resourced lessons that focus on being able to convert between cm and mm and between cm and m. The lesson presentation focuses on a range of questions and building understanding as well as guided practise questions for children to practise what they are learning. This is followed by one of two sheets based on confidence (answers included) before a final challenge question on the lesson presentation.
