FRENCH - Les Fruits - Board Game
A board game for practising the names of fruit in French.

A graduated ‘fill-in’ worksheet using reflexive verbs and time for your daily routine. What time do you wake up, get up, get washed, get dressed? etc… Answer, I wake up, get up, etc. followed by a particular time. Good for reinforcing and revision of clock times plus the use of reflexive verbs. I have purposely left times blank, so children can choose whatever they would like. Any feed back would be most appreciated.

La chambre de Jacques
Comprehension picture and text describing Jacque's bedroom. Concentrating on the use of prepositions, but also revises 'je m'appelle - nationalité - les couleurs et âge. Students read text and draw the missing items. More able students could add more details to the text. Feedback is always welcome.
Les cartes de Joyeuses Pâques
A selection of Easter cards to colour. I have made them so they can be simply printed on card and folded in half. Alternatively print on white paper and glue onto coloured card. For more able children, instructions could be given as to what colours to use to colour in the pictures. To say 'love from' the French say 'grosses bises' or 'bons baisers'. Joyeuses Pâques à tous. Les Négatifs
A simple graduated fill-in activity to the introduction of the phrase 'I have ....&' and &';I don't have ....&' . Uses everyday objects. Some boxes have been left blank for the children to draw their own pictures. I have added a more challenging worksheet for the more able students. This acts as a revision for naming objects they already know and using a dictionary to find the words of objects that they do not know.

A scene in Paris showing children having their photo taken by the Eiffel Tower. Aim of the excercise to is get children 'talking&'. Their L/O is to see how many sentences they can find which describes something in the picture. Worksheet to fill-in the days of the week, months of the year and the seasons. Incorporates concept of there are (il y a) ___ days in a week, there are ___ months in a year, there are ____ seasons in a year, thus a re-cap on number work. More of a revision worksheet as no vocab given. Feedback as to how successful this worksheet was, would be much appreciated.

An introduction to learning colours in French. This resource is aimed at very young children. However it could be modified for slightly older children.
