This set of resources is a planning sequence for primary class and a power point of examples of work produced over a project spanning a few weeks. It covers bead making, responses in two-dimensions to African masks and Kente cloth designs.

This set of resources has a power point of examples of Children's Art around the theme of Micro-organisms. Children investigated pictures and films around this theme, discussed creative issues as well as scientific knowledge and made their own responses from a selected range of resources. There are three planning documents for the topic.

These resources include a power point to show examples of the work produced by the children over a five week period, of one day of Art every week. There is also a series of planning sheets for the five weeks, and two examples of pupils response to what they experienced. Also included are a blank pro forma for the pupil responses.

These are three documents, that map out the scope and progression of Art study and practice in the Primary School. They are working documents, and so are subject to change and revision. They seek to cover all aspects of the subject, and the application should be flexible and creative...

This A5 booklet can be printed out using your computer. Choose the print setting for double sided, booklet option. The pages should print out as a double sided booklet, in the correct order. Print the cover separately in card, and collate the booklet, bound by staples. The booklet can be used to support Inset training, or as a handbook for teachers.

This set of resources has a powerpoint of students work, which is fairly self-explanatory. We made a Universe, colour mixing and matching, tissue paper skies, 3D cosmonauts/astronauts, designing space badges from space missions. A three week series of planning also included.

This is a working document to highlight and pinpoint what needs to be done , analysed and provided for the Art topics for the Primary school year. What is needed in one area, will also affect other aspects of the provision. It is helpful to coordinate that whole vision for the immediate future and ensure excellent provision of Art skills and concepts.

These giant vegetables were made by Nursery children, with some adult help.... We looked at pictures and decided to make the vegetables really big... They look great on display, but were quite fragile and not that good for play activities.

This power point shows the work of reception class as they designed and made their own shoes. Some help was necessary for cutting the corrugated card and the fabric. We used a wide variety of materials and used our imagination to put the pieces together to make a pair of shoes.. 120 children took part in this project- that's 240 cardboard soles..!!
