In this resource file:
2 .pdf files for pupils to practise their speaking and vocabulary on the topic: Greetings.
The 2 files correspond to two levels of difficulties:
1 flag: 11 keywords (see list below)
2 flags: 20 keywords
-each file contains two versions: one with the words in French, one with the words in English.
Advice:
-Print double-sided so pupils can choose to translate from French to English or English to French, as well as to be able to check their translation if they are not sure.
-Laminate so you can use as mini-whiteboards as many times as you want without printing again.
Please note: the files are not editable
1 flag keywords:
Bonjour
Bonsoir
Salut
Bonne nuit
Au revoir
Oui
Non
Ça va ?
S’il te plaît
Merci
À bientôt
2 flags extra keywords:
De rien
Coucou
Bien sûr
À demain
Enchanté
Très bien
Désolé
À plus tard
S’il vous plaît
Your KS3 students can practise their listening and speaking skills with this set of cards for the French game “Tricheur!” on the topic of Siblings- Les frères et sœurs.
There are 42 cards in this set (including 12 tricheur cards). The file comes as a 7 pages document (.pdf) with 6 cards on each page.
Card dimensions: approx. 7.5cm X 4.5cm (smaller than normal cards)
Preparation: The document should be printed “one-sided”. The cards are to be cut, folded and glued (or laminated). Each group of students will need a full set (I recommend groups of 4).
The rules can be read in the preview and are also included in the folder.
Please note: the cards are not editable
Once downloaded, save the .zip folder onto your computer before right-clicking and selecting “extract all”. The first 4 jpeg files are previews of what is included in the .zip folder.

A variety of wheel puzzles on the topic of Pets: les animaux domestiques.
A fun way for your students to practice the French vocabulary either: individually, in pairs, in groups or as a whole class.
There are** 6 wheels** included in the .zip folder: 3 levels of difficulty (8, 12 or 24 vocabulary words) and two versions per level of difficulty (French to picture or French to English), allowing you to pick the most appropriate wheel for your students.
Instruction: Each label has a French and an English word (or a picture) which do not match. Students must find and align their equivalent from another label to complete the vocabulary wheel.
Advice: Print the pdf documents one-sided, cut the labels out (+ laminate to last longer).
As well as a straightforward match up activity, you can get your students to practice their speaking by using the labels in a “I have…, who has…?” vocab chain for example. A list of other possible activities are included in the .zip folder
Note that the files are in .pdf formats and are therefore not editable.
