As a GCSE Maths teacher and a subject leader for mathematics and digital skills in Adult Education, my role encompasses various responsibilities related to overseeing and enhancing the teaching and learning of mathematics within the college I work for. I work closely with teachers, students, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of the mathematics curriculum and the continuous improvement and accessibility of mathematical education. In summary, as a subject leader for mathematics, my aim is to promote a positive and engaging learning environment, support and empower teachers and learners of any age and background, and ensure that students develop a strong foundation in mathematics and the necessary skills for their future academic and professional endeavours.
