A variety of revision lessons for Willy Russell’s ‘Blood Brothers’. These resources are for the learning of the AQA English GCSE. Covers teaching of key themes such as Nature Vs Nurture, Education, Money and Authority Figures in the play, as well as character exploration.

A 9 lesson SoW designed for Y7 Drama students, with assessment and review lesson provided. Could easily be adapted for other KS3 year groups as well. Tasks may be relevant for teaching in English too.

A 8 lesson SoW on Darkwood Manor complete with Knowledge Organizer, originally intended for a Y7 cohort but could be adapted for additional KS3 groups.

A 9 lesson SoW on Commedia dell’arte, exploring the different characters, Slapstick comedy as a genre as well as the idea of an ensemble. This SoW is complete with a Knowledge Organizer, quiz sheet (which could be used for homework), assessment task and a feedback lesson (which can additionally be adapted if preferred). This scheme was originally intended for a Year 9 cohort, but can be adapted to suit other KS3 classes as well.
