A 13 page resource pack with a Garden theme. Links to Outdoor Learning, Science, Plants and Animals, nature, reading, writing, handwriting, numbers to 10 and poetry. Pages 1,2 and 3 show colour cards using symbols. Children can count, cut and order from 1 to 10. They can also match the numbers and number words to the pictures. Pages 4 to 7 show colour flashcards of the objects seen in the maths sheets and found in the garden. Cut and duplicate (and laminate) for matching games, and to add to your displays. Page 8 is a colouring sheet showing black and white pictures of all of the symbols in the garden. Pages 9 to 12 show handwriting sheets where children read the sentences, trace them and match them to the correct black and white symbols. Page 13 is an original poem - Rosie’s Garden. Share the poem and children can then draw Rosie’s garden. They could also underline rhyming words and / or words related to the garden symbols.
