“Let’s Write About the New Year 2025” is a set of 10 writing templates designed for Key Stage 1 learners. Each template is different, and includes a themed illustration for children to colour—such as the Capricorn zodiac symbol, or imagery inspired by the Year of the Snake or the party season — alongside a simple lined ‘calendar’ area. Children can add short sentences, words, or phrases related to their New Year plans, traditions, the seasons or their resolutions. A cross-curricular resource with a toy theme. Children label the 12 toys for sale in the toy shop. Children say how much each toy is as written on the price tags and count out the appropriate amount of coins for each one. Children draw a picture of the toys matching the price tags.
