With everything from robins and cardinals to vireos and loons, this book graced with illustrations in color introduces your child to common North American birds through copy-work in manuscript printing with an average of about 50 words per page.
This book makes great printing practice for late first through third grades. It is also great remedial handwriting practice for older kids (grades 4-6) who are computer spoiled and need to spruce up their printing ability. After all, adults fill out forms all the time in printing by hand. So if your older child is losing his printing skills, or could use work on neatness, this book is also great for your family.
Buy this book once, and you can use it for any member of your immediate household indefinitely. That means you can use it for any of your children now or in the future.
We give you a different bird for each letter of the alphabet with an illustration of each bird in color. Plus we give you a coloring page for your child to color for each and every bird in this book. These can be used as part of a notebook or simply as reward pages for a job well done. We also give your child fun puzzles pertaining to the birds found in this book. Your kids can even use this book as a beginning field guide to 26 North American birds.
Please note: This book is also available in slantprint (transitional) writing: "Birds of North America" Slant Print Penmanship A-Z.

This book makes great transitional practice for late first through fourth grades in preparation for learning cursive. (These slant-print letters each have elements of manuscript and cursive writing.) It is also great for children of any age who want to learn or practice this style of writing for making fancy cards, notes or other handwritten documents.

This 36 lesson course introduces children in the early elementary grades to fine art with 36 different wholesome and delightful kid-friendly paintings by famous artists.
The subjects of these paintings are children and their pets, farm animals, flowers, and birds. The children in the paintings are doing a variety of things, including cuddling their pets, having a tea party, playing in the sand, pretending to doctor patients, and being read to by Grandma. In one painting, a girl is standing next to a very big dog, seeing if she is as tall as he is.
With each painting is a single paragraph of simple questions designed to get kids to relate to the paintings and develop their observation skills.
All you have to do is to either print out the paintings from your computer or show them to your child on your computer screen, and talk about what is in each painting using our provided questions, and/or choosing questions of your own.
This will prepare your young children for the other levels of this course series. Our grades 3 and 4 art appreciation course is also available in our store. It goes a step further by introducing art terms and concepts through similar (but higher level) discussion questions.
This course includes the biographies of 4 artists at an early elementary level. It also includes a student worksheet template and 2 painting scavenger hunts (in both color and gray-scale for printing, along with answer keys).

Strengthen your children’s appreciation for family life, teach them why they should value it, and help them know how to make it richer with their own contributions.
This book contains penmanship copywork about what it means to be a family, from A to Z, with one page for each letter of the alphabet.
We share photos of our children growing up in our home and home school, to go with each family value, along with a few pages of photo collages of our family life. We also tell about our family life as an example, although not a perfect one, to make this book more personal. We hope that this will inspire your kids to give themselves wholeheartedly to your family life.
We also share paintings by famous artists that illustrate family life. Below each painting we talk about the old-fashioned values that painting inspires, and we make observations about the paintings to help kids develop art sense.
These are followed by outlines of the paintings for kids to paint or color, to help their art skills along and add to the enjoyment of this course. Coloring them is not mandatory, of course, but we include them for those artistic-minded kids who will really enjoy them. We try to make each of our books cover more than one school subject.
This beautiful book provides inspiration to your children that just might change your family life.

My Father’s World
~ Vocals by Joymarie Dunlap
~ Arranged by Joshua Dunlap
So many churches today neglect the old hymns, but they are so full of important spiritual concepts and teaching about the Christian life! In these music recordings, we present hymns with original and exciting instrumental arrangements. We hope to encourage a new generation of believers to take up their timeless message, one of tender obedience to Christ, delight in His creation, reverence for His Word, and devotion of our all to the Master.
Joymarie’s rich, sweet, clear voice is as fresh and beautiful today as it was on tour when she was 16 years old. Her beautiful vocals on these 5 hymns lend a freshness and charm that reflect her love for the old hymns as she cherished them growing up on a mission base in the South Pacific.
Joshua’s exciting and inspiring arrangements invigorate her lovely renditions of these familiar hymns. He has provided vivid, bright arrangements that carry the hymns along, making this a fitting album for young and old alike.

Beach Math for Preschoolers is a colorful first counting book with beautiful ocean scenes for kids to count colorful coral reef fish, playful dolphins, inquisitive sea birds, and delightful seashells. As children learn each new number, they can use the accompanying worksheets designed for preschool children, even those whose hands are not ready to write.
Highly gifted 3-year-olds, early 4’s, and normal 5- to 6-year-olds who are about to start First Grade will all enjoy this book.
There are 4 to 6 colorful counting pages for each number (1-10), followed by a coloring page with large numbers to trace, or if the child isn’t ready to trace numbers he or she can color a bush shaped like the correct number. The worksheets that follow include more than one number bush. The child counts the beach creatures and then colors the bush that shows the correct number. Dotted numbers are also available in very large print on each worksheet for practice.
Starting with the number 6, there are fewer bushes to color and more numerals to trace and circle, plus several rows of animals to count, with 3 or more numbers to choose between. Kids circle the numeral that goes with the number they counted on each row.

Do you want to equip your children to be useful in God’s Kingdom? This book will help teach your children the importance of being useful to God (bearing fruit) as emphasized by Jesus Himself in His teachings.
Our Artistic Bible Copywork series combines Bible verses, penmanship copywork, and art. Our goal with this series is to familiarize kids with the Scriptures in an enjoyable context. Through careful use of the books in this series, you can even help your children keep these Bible passages in their hearts, entrusted to their memory. “Your word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against You.” (One way to do this is to have them do the same copy page several days in a row, while saying the verse together as a family to learn it by heart.)
It is so vitally important for our children to know the Bible and its teachings. This book presents children with verses in the New American Standard Bible (NASB) version selected from all 4 Gospels that show how God requires those who repent and trust in Him to bear fruit in keeping with their repentance. Copying these verses, doing the activities and coloring the many pictures of fruit that adorn these pages makes Scripture copywork a beautiful experience.
Some of the verses to copy come with a question or 2 to answer, helping your children focus on the meaning of what they have just copied.
This book includes:
46 Gospel verses to copy on the topic of Bearing Fruit
12 mystery verses for kids to figure out by word clues and fill in (in cursive)
7 crossword puzzles for review
4 high-quality realistic coloring pages
3 decorated verse posters to color
2 word search puzzles including the Fruits of the Spirit and another mystery verse in word search form
14 extra lined pages in different line sizes (4 decorated with color pictures and 10 with pictures in grayscale)

Inspire your kids during copywork time to enjoy a family walk.
Through the years as we homeschooled, Joymarie took photos of our kids enjoying family walks and park time for PE. The color photos in this penmanship book span our kids’ ages from toddler to graduating teen, so kids get to see our homeschooled kids at different ages as they copy sentences about the many and varied fun things we did on family walks.
This book is both an inspiration to kids to encourage them to enjoy family walks and also an inspiration and guide to parents on how to make family walks and exercise at the park (and in many other settings) enjoyable for the whole family, tots to teens. At the back of the copywork pages is a complete guide covering everything from how to avoid family quarrels and helping kids learn how to treat one another to how to photograph your own kids on family walks. Joymarie covers both the practical aspects, such as bringing along snacks, drinks and jackets, and the spiritual and inspirational side of being close to God, the Creator, on a walk.
This beautiful book is an experience in joyfulness that just might change your family life.

Have you ever heard of an addax? What about a capybara, fennec, ibex, kinkajou, or numbat? How about an okapi, pangolin, quokka, or saiga? Or what about an uakari or a zorille? If you haven’t heard of these strange and unusual animals, you will really enjoy our Animals You Never Heard Of penmanship series, which starts with this book.
Kids will love getting to know these unusual animals. Each page includes text in cursive, copywork lines, plus word puzzles added as a bonus for when the copywork is done. We also give you 2 colorfully decorated extra copywork pages in 2 line sizes, plus a word search that includes all 26 unusual mammals. Do you love our Art & Nature Science Units, but have children too young to use them?
We are now producing a new series with our Art & Nature Science Units (which are back issues of our colorful magazine for kids that is no longer in production) adapted for smaller children (grades 1-3).
Now if you plan to use our Ocean Fish nature unit for a multilevel unit study in your homeschool, you can order our regular version for grades 4-8 and our “Little Kids” version for grades 1-3. That means you can do art (3 or more months worth) with grades 1-8 together, and science with grades 1-6 together.
If you just give our nature units to your kids for enjoyment (with or without homeschooling), you can give your 1st through 3rd graders their own version of the Ocean Fish nature unit that they can understand and enjoy in addition to giving our regular Ocean Fish nature unit to your children in grades 4-8. (Our nature units are enjoyable to 1st through 8th graders and suitable in art for 4th grade through beyond 8th grade level.)
Because recreating our nature units for younger children takes a lot of work, this is the only Art & Nature Science Unit for which we have produced a “Little Kids” version so far.
