This is a self checker for the key finance skills needed for the exam. It covers: Statement of Financial Position Statement of Comprehensive Income Cash Flow Break Even Table Break Even Graph If students do not know how to complete a task, there are hints they can use and suggestions of how to improve. Allows students and teachers to know where they are and what they need to improve before the exam.

A self teach resource so students can cover the key points in Promotion in preparation for Component 3, Btec Tech Award in Enterprise. This a series of lessons and activities based on a business changing how they operate due to Covid 19. The theory is delivered via videos. Its about 8 hours of online learning.

Closure work for teaching the theory of Component 1 Learning Aim A of Btec Tech Award in Enterprise. The idea is that they will be able to print out notes of the theory when we return to school to use a basis for future coursework. There is also a summary task. Teaching by video - all included :) Series of 8 lessons and then a summary research activity

Repetition is the key to long term memory. These 4 set of exercises reinforce the key knowledge and skills required to master break even. 1 Key Terms - 2 Calculations 3 Graph, Formula and Margin of Safety 4 Use and Limitations All have help with the skills and knowledge 1-3 have the answers, 4 needs discussion with the students This worked well with my year 10’s and 11’s

Part of the June 2019 exam. Mark sheet and videos of worked answers so students can independently see how they lost marks. This worked very well with my students. I went through the exam and how to answer thw questions, but did not mark them in the exam.

Btec Tech Award in Enterprise Component 3 Revision Materials A spreadsheet with all the key terms that students need to know to be able to access the exam. Split into topics such as Statement of Financial Position, Break Even, Promotion etc Most of the key terms have links to videos which explain them. My classes found this very useful. They go through indicate red, amber or green and tehn make flash cards of the amber and green - they then update it as they get better.

I use this in class so I can discuss work with individual students. It could be set as revision homework. It is a fill in revision booklet with links to videos explaining each aspect. After each section there are exercises with video worked answers. It works well :)

Cash flow questions based on the Btec First Award in Business with worked answers as videos. Students can mark their own work, spot where they made mistakes etc really good for indpendent learning or a cover lesson.

A 25 mark test on Income Statements - with links to worked answers on youtube. Students can check how they gained and lost marks independently :)
