French food - speciality dishes - PowerPoints

This resource includes two PowerPoints (one normal, one dyslexia friendly). They introduce pupils to a number of French specialities: 4 starters, 5 main courses, 4 desserts and 4 drinks. Audio is included for non-language specialists, if needed. Note: For the Orangina slide there is no image but links to two Orangina funny adverts on YouTube. These clips will only work if connected to the internet and if your school allows access to YouTube. * The font used in the dyslexia-friendly PowerPoint is a free font called SF Cartoonist Hand and might be more better for some dyslexic students. If it is not already on your computer it can be downloaded from the internet. This is not the font that appears in the preview.

This resource introduces saying hello, asking how someone is and responding in Spanish. It also builds a basic dialogue and includes a quick game with images flying across the screen. This PowerPoint comes with audio, if needed, to support non-language specialists. The choice of background, font style and colour aim to be clearer for dyslexic students. This resource is part of the Greetings in Spanish bundle.
