Cleopatra ESCAPE ROOM: Ancient Egypt -Shakespeare -Julius Caesar -Marc Antony
The Cleopatra Escape Room will take students on a secret mission around the classroom! This escape room has students decode interesting facts about Cleopatra. This is the perfect resource to introduce or review Cleopatra, Julius Caesar, Marc Antony or Ancient Egypt. The Cleopatra Escape Room has students walking around the classroom breaking codes. Students are given a secret code name and sent on a secret mission. The codes include ciphers, Morse code, cryptograms and a final 4 digit code based on the decoders/clues.
Each clue and code is different. The codes require students to think differently to decipher or decode them. Some codes are easier than others. Some codes require critical thinking to determine what a letter/symbol stands for. Each code will reveal interesting facts about Cleopatra. The use of secret code will keep your students engaged while competing to find the final code. Students can report the final code to you. If you wanted to, you could purchase a 4 digit lock that you program, but it is not necessary at all! No props needed!! This is a NO PREP, PRINT & GO Activity!

Gettysburg Address ESCAPE ROOM: Translation - Abe Lincoln
Gettysburg Address Escape Room Activity:
The Gettysburg Address Escape Room will take students on a secret mission around the classroom! This escape room has students decode interesting facts about the Gettysburg Address, Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War. This is the perfect resource to introduce a famous historical speech in a fun way! The activity includes modern, easy to understand translations of Lincoln’s speech.
The Gettysburg Address Escape Room has students walking around the classroom breaking codes. Students will complete a short formative that corresponds to the readings. This will ensure they are reading the content, not just solving the puzzles. The codes include ciphers, Morse code, cryptograms and a final 4 digit code based on the decoders/clues.
Each clue and code is different. The codes require students to think differently to decipher or decode them. Some codes are easier than others. Some codes require critical thinking to determine what a letter/symbol stands for. Each code will reveal interesting facts or an analysis about the Gettysburg Address. The use of secret code will keep your students engaged while competing to find the final code. Students can report the final code to you. If you wanted to, you could purchase a 4 digit lock that you program, but it is not necessary at all! No props needed!! This is a NO PREP, PRINT & GO Activity!

Halloween Accordion Book - Create your own! Choose from 26 Halloween templates!
Halloween Accordion Foldable Book Activity:
This is the perfect Halloween activity/craftivity to keep your kids engaged before or on the holiday! Students color pre-made Halloween pictures, write about Halloween or draw their own Halloween pictures. Let them use their imagination and creativity. Several writing prompts or writing ideas are included. The best part is that you can create your own accordion book. Each page has 4 ghosts on it. You choose which pages you want to use! OR you can allow your students to choose! Perfect for differentiation and different age levels.
This is called a “Create Your Own” accordion book because you can choose which page you want to start your book, which page you want to end your book and even if you want to add a middle page.
I like to print a few piles of each one and have students choose two- three pages, BUT one of them MUST have to do with writing. You do not have to tape sets together if you do not want. You may be happy with just one small accordion book with a set of 4 ghosts. The books may vary in length based on student grade level and ability.
