A Level English Language AQA Non Examined Assessment (NEA) This is an introduction to the original writing part of the NEA. It consists of a PowerPoint, two blank texts to photocopy for students and two annotated copies for the teacher. It should last for at least a double lesson, if not longer.

This is a lesson on animals and pets made for Functional Skills English level 2. It consists of a variety of activities which practise reading and writing skills and also includes practice of the speaking and listening element (students make a PowerPoint presentation on their pets to present to the class). It took me two lessons of two hours (so four hours in total), to cover the content.

A PowerPoint introducing the new GCSE specification: AQA English Language 8700. It briefly outlines the course and is a general "first lesson" PowerPoint with an induction task (writing a letter to the teacher). It is particularly catered for those students coming up to sixth form/college from secondary school. Please note that various documents are referred to in this PowerPoint, such as the Flying Start and the Learner Profile. Both of these documents are not included here as they are specific to the college at which I'm working, therefore I'm not able to include them.
