This is a full lesson based on 80 mins but could be altered for shorter lessons. It starts with a place value settling starter followed by the learning objectives slides. The main starter is a multiplying by 10 activity leading into multiplying by 10, 100 and 1000 followed by division. There are the notes to be copied into the books and then some differentiated activities including an extension. If extra practice is needed there is a qwizdom activity which could also be done on whiteboards if a qwizdom set is not available. Finally there is a exit ticket plenary with a word document to print those out.
My lessons are based on 80 minutes but could be altered to suit the length of your classes. It has a settling starter, learning objectives slide, a main starter, examples of the activity with notes to be copied into books, differentiated questions, an extra practice activity and a plenary
This one was a lesson that I made for an interview and then extended in order for it to fit in with my class.
These are the activities I have chosen for this lesson:
Settling starter – Perimeter of rectangles and triangles
Starter – 5 quick simplifying questions
Extra practice activity – Match up activity
Plenary – Exit ticket (ready to print)
All my lessons are set up in a similar way to allow consistency when teaching. They are also all graded based on the new 1 – 9 grading system. Please leave feedback and if you find anything that needs to be changed let me know and I will inform you when it has been done so you can download the latest version.

It also involves discussion about how to tell if a co-ordinate lies on a line or not.
This lesson includes a settler to get students started as soon as they enter the room. A starter checking understanding of factors and multiple. It then moves onto Highest Common Factor HCF and Lowest Common Multiple LCM, including a clear example and steps to success that they can put into their books. There are examples with differentiated questions and answers. There is then a card sort activity for anyone who needs more practice. Ending with exam style challenge questions in the plenary.
All the slides are animated so that you can just click and it will go through everything, answers appear one at a time so you can get answers from specific students. It is planned with an hour and 20 min lesson in mind but you can remove parts of the activities if you need it shorter.
This is a full lesson based on 80 mins but could be easily altered to suit your lessons. There is a countdown style settling starter followed by the learning objectives slide. There are example slides that go through how to use BIDMAS followed by the notes to put into books and a set of differentiated questions. The extra practice is a match up activity with blank cards that enable students to think about how to make questions. The plenary is an exit ticket that can be printed to use.
This is a full lesson based on 80 mins but you could alter it to fit your classes. The settling starter for this lesson is simplifying fractions as they will need to be able to remember that during the lesson. This is followed by the learning objective slide and a starter that recaps adding and subtracting fractions with the same denominator from last lesson. There are then example slides that include what to do if you are multiplying by a whole number and notes for students to copy into their books. This is followed by some differentiated questions. The extra practice activity is 10 quick questions, these slides are automated to move on after 30 seconds but you can change the time if you don't think your class will need as long. The plenary is an exit ticket, there is a word document for this so you can just print those off
This is a full lesson based on 80 mins but could be easily altered to create a shorter lesson. It begins with a countdown style settling starter followed by the learning objectives slide. There is then a starter of 10 simple multiplication questions. The main part of the lesson has 3 fully automated example questions which draw and fill in the grid a bit at a time. It includes decimals and how to decide where to out the decimal point. There is then a slide with notes and an example for pupils to copy into their books followed by differentiated questions. The extra practice is a tarzia activity of mixed ability questions. Finally the plenary is worded questions.
This is based on an 80 min lesson but could be changed to suit your lesson. It starts with a rounding to whole numbers settling starter as this hasn't been done in previous lessons in this unit. There is then a learning objective slide followed by a match up rounding activity. It then goes through how to find upper and lower bounds with the notes to be copied into books and some differentiated questions. The extra practice activity is a bingo and the plenary is an exit ticket. There is a word document to print out the exit tickets.
This is a full lesson based on 80 mins but could easily be altered for a shorter lesson. There is a countdown style starter activity followed by the learning objectives slide. The starter for the lesson is basic division questions followed by the main lesson. The main lesson consists of worked examples that move through to decimals and are all animated on the slides. There are then a selection of differentiated questions and answers. The answers come up one at a time so the students can give the answers throughout. There is then an extra practice card sort activity. The plenary is a selection of worded questions.

I created this for an observation and got really good feedback
These are the activities I have chosen for this lesson:
Settling starter – mathematical anagrams
Starter – naming shapes
Extra practice activity – area and perimeter of their initial (these are all made just to print)
Plenary – exit ticket

This is a full lesson based on 80 mins that can easily be changed to fit the length of your lessons. There is a division 10 questions settling starter as they will need division to convert. This is followed by the learning objectives and the starter which is adding fractions from last lesson. This follows onto the examples which have a slide that includes notes to be put into books. There are a set of differentiated questions and the extra practice is a bingo activity followed by and exit ticket plenary. There is a word document to print out the exit tickets
This is a lesson based on 80 mins but could be easily changed to suit your lessons. It starts with a settling starter of a multiplication grid followed by the learning objectives. The starter is the 10 quick division questions. The lesson then has some multiple and factor examples which can be done on mini whiteboards. This is followed by the differentiated questions, the extension looks at some prime numbers. This then goes through what prime numbers are and how to find them, they identify them with a partner using the 100 square. This is followed by notes about prime numbers. The plenary is an exit ticket that there is a word document available for.

This is a full range of starter slides for maths lessons that can be just taken and added to the start of your PowerPoint. The majority are for number topics but there are also some for data, algebra and shape. Each is on a separate slide and most have the answers unless they are based on your class (there are only a couple of those)
This is a full lesson that I used for an interview. It has progress ladder to do at the start then learning is consolidated and you redo the progress ladder midway through the lesson in purple to show progress made. It is then followed by questions to do in books and an exam style plenary question
This is a full lesson with a progress ladder starter, going through whiteboard work and back to the progress ladder to assess progress. There are then some further questions and a more difficult thinking hard question towards the end.
This is an 80 min lesson focusing on changing between fractions decimals and percentages, the length could easily be changed for your classes. It has been created with a lower ability class in mind so you may need to add a few slightly harder questions to the treasure hunt. The settling starter is dividing by 100 followed by the learning objective slide. There is then a shading fractions starter and some examples of how to change between FDP, these start with a pictorial representation and move onto just using a table to help. There are the notes to copy into books and differentiated questions - I have included a word document of grid templates should students need them. The extra practice is a treasure hunt finding the smallest out of a set of 3, there is an example of this first. The exit ticket is an ordering activity and there is a word document available to print that out.
This is a full lesson about odd and even numbers is it set up very similar to my other lessons but there is more in there for the students to complete as it is quite a quick subject. It goes through identifying odd and even numbers to arranging cards to find the numbers requested like they appear in exam questions. The settling starter is a division activity followed by the learning objective. The main starter for the lesson is a place value activity to recap from previous lessons. There are then some examples of odd and even numbers followed by the note to put in books this is followed by an activity where students have to hold up odd and even cards (These cards can be printed out - print 2 sided then laminate). This is followed by the differentiated questions and an investigation task. Finally the plenary is an exam question style exit ticket.
