This poster contains a collection of commonly used electronic circuit symbols and their meanings. Circuit symbols may differ only slightly but their intended meanings can be very different. There are two standards of symbols that you may encounter, ANSI/IEEE and IEC - both variants have been shown so that you can see the differences. The symbols include Resitors, Capacitors, Diodes, Transistors, Switches, Output Devices, Logic Gates and Basic Circuit Symbols.
