3D Panda Bear Research Model A creative, integrated research project, classroom decoration and 3D model all rolled into one Cute Panda Bear Activity. Your kiddos will be delighted on work on this creative research and 3D Bear Model. This is not your average research project! Paper lanterns are great for developing fine motor skills such as: folding, coloring, painting, gluing, cutting, listening and following directions. Embedded within this Panda Bear Craft there are several activities to extend your students learning about Panda Bears. These units are designed in a Mix and Match format. You are able to pick the pieces that you want, depending on the needs and the abilities of your students…so many possibilities. This unit can be approached in several ways. Either as a quick Panda Bear Craft that will take about 120 minutes to complete. Or as long, in-depth Panda Bear research project that will take upwards of a week to complete. With my kiddos, I have them spend a great amount time coloring their Panda Bears as closely to the naturally occurring colors…this becomes a great observational and attention to detail project. I love teaching the kids how to layer and blend colors to create 3D dimensional optical effects. In essences, this is a very simple Panda Bear lantern craft with so many natural extensions into Art, Science and Writing. Included: • Printed Bear lantern templates • Several trims with Panda bear titles • Bear bits and pieces ….check out the preview to see everything included! ********************************************************************* Keywords: :: Panda Bear :: Giant Panda Bear :: Panda :: Panda craft :: Panda activity :: Panda Art :: Panda Research :: Siberian Bear :: Red Bear :: 3D Models :: Panda Bear Crafts :: Panda Bear Activities :: Panda Bear Research Project :: Fine Motor Crafts :: Crafts for Kids :: Paper Lantern :: Ms Lil :: 3D art :: Panda Bear Art ::

Paper Bag Gingerbread House A Christmas craft for everyone in your classroom. Created with Christmas and non-Christmas themed houses. In my classroom I have a least 6 different religious beliefs. With a few adaptions, everyone can create and build the Gingerbread house of their dreams. I have used this simple craft in my room for years. Every year we make wonderful hand-printed Christmas ornaments. We have our Kindergartens make these adorable Gingerbread Paper Bag Houses to “wrap” their ornaments to take home. This Christmas wrapping paper is so much easier than having little hands trying to wrap-up their gifts. On the back of each roof is a “To and From” tag. This makes my life so much easier! These bags look very cute as a Gingerbread House Village display stuffed with paper. The kids love coloring all the bits and pieces and then sticking them on to create their own unique House. I have created very easy houses…trim, color and glue. For the more complicated house, we start with the “basic” house…color, cut and glue on the bits. Then, for the kids who excel in fine motor, they just love coloring, cutting and adding all the bits and pieces to their projects, including the sides and the back of the house. Make this project as simple or complex as needed. I love adding the pieces to cutting trays, in my Montessori classroom for cutting exercises. These units are designed in a Mix and Match format. You are able to pick the pieces that you want, depending on the needs and the abilities of your students. There are so many different possibilities. Each lantern creation is designed with a printed lantern template and the choice of several 100 Day themed trims. This is a great activity to keep the kids busy while practicing fine motor skills, colouring, folding, gluing and especially cutting. So many ways to decorate the lantern trims using glitter, paper layering, leaves, fake snow, shredded paper, cotton, tissue paper, foam shapes...
