Bats in the Classroom! A creative way to teach about Bats using this unique 3D Bat Craft. Whether hanging from the ceiling or sitting on the shelf, your students will love creating and putting on their own personal touches on these Cute Bats. This Bat Art Project makes an excellent addition to your Bat classroom décor. Personally, I love hanging upside down from the ceiling in my classroom. Paper lanterns are great for developing fine motor skills such as: folding, coloring, painting, gluing, cutting, listening and following directions. Embedded within this Bat Project there are several activities to extend your students learning about the Bats. These units are designed in a Mix and Match format. You are able to pick the pieces that you want, depending on the needs and the abilities of your students…so many possibilities. This unit can be approached in several ways. Either as a quick Bat project that will take about 2 hours to complete. Or as long, in-depth Bat Research Activity that will take upwards of a week to complete. In my classroom, creating the basic lantern will take my kiddos about 2 hours (coloring and assembly). I often have my kiddos write on the back of the Bat lantern and the underside of the Bat wings facts about Bat. With older grades, I have my students do an Bat Research Project. Not only do they have to research about an Bat species, they work on recreating their Bat lantern to look as realistic as possible. You can easily use this project to spiral into Bat literature and science in so many ways. Included: • Printed Bat templates • Clear step-by-step instructions • Bat sample photos … check out the preview to see everything included! ***************************************************************************** Keywords: :: Bat Craft :: Bat Crafts :: Bat Activity :: Stella Luna :: Bat craft template :: Bat art :: Bat art project :: Bat lantern :: Bat classroom decoration :: Bat decor :: Bat research project :: Bat models :: Paper Lantern :: Ms Lil :: Halloween Crafts :: Halloween Activity ::
