Happy New Year! For the rest of the academic year, please enjoy this resource for FREE! All ask is you leave a positive review in return. I hope you and your students have much fun using it as I did making it.
The Gratitude Journal contains 145 pages of simple daily tasks to make your students’ day better! They journal how they feel in the morning by giving their mood a number between 1-10 . Then the aim of the daily tasks is to improve that number by doing things during the day that make them happier, as well as showing gratitude for what they already have.
They will also be actioning/tracking their goals, weekly. There are other tasks along the way to help improve their happiness over the next academic year, as well as quotes to colour in. They can use this journal as much or as little as they like, but the more they use it, the more they’ll get out of it. ENJOY!
It’s Halloween! One of the most magical times of the year where children get to dress up and can either be tricked or treated. Nowadays, we receive a lot of sweets for our treats, but we don’t want to end this holiday by being tricked into feeling sick. So let’s think what else we could do with some of the sweets we receive.

Write a letter to forgive someone. Forgiving someone who may have caused us harm is not always easy, but offering forgiveness can heal you and bring you peace. Think of someone who may have harmed you or someone else. Many people who cause harm are not happy themselves, so consider their life, are they happy? Write a letter to this person. Let them know that you forgive them for what they did and that you wish them peace. Notice how you feel offering this kind forgiveness and compassion.

Write a letter to Santa, but instead of asking for something for yourself, ask Santa for something you would like to give another person. Maybe a friend, sibling, parent or it could be someone you’ve never met! Also, it doesn’t have to be an object, it could be a feeling and explain why they deserve it (make sure Santa knows they’re on the nice list).
