A Victorian picture hunt - children have to find 10 pictures which you can hide around the classroom/hall/playground etc. Can be used with KS2 and KS1, including non-readers/writers, as children only need to look for matching pictures and note down the number in the appropriate box. However, it’s a good stimulus for discussion of the Victorian items listed, either at the start/end of the topic or simply as a fun activity/end of term game etc. Items include pictures of Queen Victoria, penny farthing, factory, chimney sweep, mangle, camera etc.
