All my students use them, as they progress from simple three word sentences to the most elaborate AP style sentences in the two languages. I have designed them with English and Spanish prompts. ENJOY this free SAMPLE. This is a simple and quick Crossword puzzle that I have created as a WHOLE Chapter Review for Lección 5 of the Descubre 2 Book- EN LA CIUDAD. The paid resource has 5 versions with a Key. Each version has an average of 45-50 words taken from the vocabulary summary list at the end of the Lección. This free sample just gives you a little taste of the paid version. It only has one version with a key and has 19 words.

Get your students ready to write. These guided sentence writing Graphic Organizers will guide your students through the process of sentence writing. Choose from 7 different sentence structures. You can use the color coded samples or the plain black and white organizers. I have made them in English and in Spanish. I usually use Spanish ones at the end of the year with Spanish 1 or after Chapter 1 with the higher levels. Make as many copies as you need. I use these organizers in different ways: Example: As a ticket out the door or Bell work As an introduction to paragraph writing (especially for the more advanced classes). You give them a simple topic: Mis vacaciones. You provide them with 3 different organizers and ask them to write three sentences or more, about the topic in question. As they practice, they will get used to writing complex and detailed sentences in Spanish or English or any other language, with the correct word order and paying attention to grammatical features. Graphic organizers for compound sentences will be added soon.

In this resource, you will find a power point that has 50 slides with listening comprehension prompts for the Vocabulary of that section adding the plural forms of each noun and the male and female version. Example: students may hear EL ENTREVISTADOR or LA ENTREVISTADORA or LOS ENTREVISTADORES OR LAS ENTREVISTADORAS. Resources like this one take a lot of time to prepare. For this reason, I save you the time. Just open it, use it and enjoy more free time. Project it on your Smartboard, on the wall or on your TV screen. If you are a Spanish teacher and are teaching the -AR Verbs, then this is the resource for you. This is a resource that takes a lot of time to prepare. I take the time to do it so YOU, don’t have to spend hours (like I do), preparing resources like this. No matter what book you use, nor the level you are teaching, if you want to assess, review, teach and practice the -AR VERBS in Spanish, then you are in for a treat. However, this resource is best suited with the Book Descubre 1 L2 - En la clase. This resource contains: A ppt that has 76 slides, including the Cover. Several students Answer sheets: For example: One with all 70 answers, another one with 10, 5, and 1 questions. Two versions that contain only the odd numbers or only the even numbers. The KEY for the teacher. Students are given an answer sheet. As they listen to the prompt, they have to choose whether the picture on the slide goes or doesn’t go with the verb they just heard. Then, they need to recognize the Subject Pronoun that the conjugation agrees with. This is a very simple exercise and it is made for a Tier 1 level.
