A fun version of Snakes and Ladders where students are practicing to differentiate between questions and statements. All you need are some counters and a die!

A range of afternoon activities linked to the topic of Christmas. The activities include writing , creative, maths, STEM, workshop, understanding the world and fine motor activities. A lovely book for Reception in the Autumn term as they are settling into their new schooling environment. My class really enjoyed looking at the similarities and differences between our school day and the school day in the book. Great for helping to sequence the school day and setting a visual timetable.

This is a PowerPoint lesson to assist with the teaching of “one fewer”. The ideal starter activity would be to sing “5 little speckled frogs” with your class before moving onto this PowerPoint. This lesson was a huge hit with my Pre-Kindergarten class, but would also suit Kindergarten classes learning this concept for the first time.

In line with the New K-2 curriculum is a worksheet for students to complete after learning about part-whole models. After filling in the part-whole model, write down all the addition and subtraction number sentences you can think of! This worksheet has been differentiated three ways.
