OCR B3 Photosynthesis
Used with my OCR Higher ability class to explain photosynthesis according to the OCR scheme. Used to stretch many of the students, especially higher level. Support sheet can be used with hints on what they should be including in their work
Edexcel B1 - Vertebrates and Invertebrates
Includes opportunities for self/peer assessment. Use posters for students to circulate around the room or as a team exercise where one student looks at the sheet, and relays the information to a scribe. Includes an exam question with mark scheme for plenary, and a homework sheet

Information with questions embedded, self and peer assessment available. Plenary to see what students have learned, and will require post it notes
NEW AQA B2.1 Cell division
PowerPoint including information about mitosis, with bell activity and starter. Support and stretch activities included in tasks. Practical task involves preparation of mitotic cells to look at under the microscope, however an alternate worksheet has been provided. Alternate worksheet is where students look at the pictures, and decide which stage of mitosis it is at. Homework slide is included

A look at the ethical implications of stem cells, and links with media representation of stem cells. Peer Assessment opportunities, research and group discussion
Edexcel B1.3 Species
Opportunities for peer assessment, with a card sort game included. Card sort can be printed back to back, with binomial name on the back, or single pages where students guess which binomial name matches which animal. Starter and plenary included. Homework slide at the end that can be used. All activities include stretch ideas
