An excellent 5 to 6 week cross curricular project made up of two parts. This is part 1 of 3: Students will explore renewable energy and do focus practicals made from recycled material, to gain a wider understanding of how Renewable energy works. Students will use a focused task of selecting the correct type of renewable energy for an Island which can be adjusted and edited to make your own school into an Island. Part 2: takes this knowledge and allows students the opportunity to design and create their very own sustainable city, making use of different drawing techniques, and bringing the work together on a google site that pesents their work to WWF.
