Almost two decades of primary school teaching experience and five years at management level. Currently in a curriculum advisory role: English and mathematics. I'm an energetic, effective, reflective practitioner with a good dash of common sense. I'm an advocate of cross-curricular teaching: especially the power of visual teaching and the integration of physical education and performing arts into core teaching practice. I'm passionate about pupil progression. I have an appreciation of the power of differentiation: learning experiences that support, build confidence and extend individuals within a class of learners. Advocate of student lead learning: self assessment, evaluation and reflection. I set the highest standards for my pupils and myself.
